Vivere tra la Campania e il Lazio ma sognare Detroit e Chicago.I ragazzi della Common Series non amano parlare molto di sè ma sono già alla seconda uscita su vinile, più che un supporto una filosofia di vita, per mezzo del quale gridare forte il loro senso di appartenenza alla famiglia techno black americana.In entrambe le release (200 copie numerate a mano) la musica è opera di Goldfinger, al secolo Marco Erroi da Roma, cui si unisce nella produzione il cofondatore della label Richard Edogawa.Gli EP seguono una struttura speculare, che vuole l’A-side fare spazio a solidi stomps e melodie trascinanti ispirati alla scuola di Omar S, e riservare il lato B a scenari maggiormente sperimentali in chiave electro bass acid e ambient/industrial, che tuttavia ogni tanto lasciano intravedere piccole ingenuità.Tirando le somme si tratta di un buon esordio per un collettivo che pur restando in silenzio ha più di qualcosa da dire.

Brilliant 2nd release on the Common Series.Kraut Rock, Industrial influences all over. Main track is a massive slap bass with trippy string sections. A truly epic track. Seriously cool 8 minute track on this small 200 copies edition release. Recommended
